A Slice of Paradise
Queens Park Landscape Design Project

This enchanting Moroccan riad-inspired garden is nestled within the grounds of a stately home, where grand, decorative arches form the very heart of its architectural foundation. Elements of tradition and contemporary design seamlessly intertwine, with cascading fountains, lush greenery, bold splashes of color, and intricate patterns, creating a space that exudes both timeless charm and modern sophistication.
The recessed area beyond the arches is painted in a rich, deep crushed raspberry hue, offering a striking and elegant backdrop for the curated selection of plants, pots, and furniture. This vibrant tone enhances the overall visual experience, infusing the space with an energizing yet refined atmosphere.
Towering palms were thoughtfully placed, their graceful, strappy fronds serving as a natural ceiling, enclosing the garden in a soft, shaded canopy. Their movement in the breeze adds a dynamic layer to the design, while providing dappled shade to the sun-drenched functional zones of the garden.

A central water feature, a hallmark of Moroccan garden design, brings an undeniable sense of serenity and coolness to the space. The mosaic tiles’ intricate patterns, combined with the delicately crafted lattice woodwork framing the surrounding fence, elevate the garden's artistic flair, creating a sophisticated and tranquil ambiance.
The rich materials chosen for the garden's elements offer subtle contrasts to the striking checkerboard paving, enhancing the textural richness of the design while maintaining a sense of balance and harmony throughout the space.
Multiple intimate seating areas with low side tables are thoughtfully scattered across the garden, complemented by expansive dining settings that encourage both relaxation and entertaining in equal measure.
