BISTRO
The Landscapes collection by Paola Lenti is a new stage in a creative course driven by innovation, attentive to the present while envisioning its future evolution.
This in-depth look into each fold of reality that surrounds us, without ever abandoning the strengths of tradition and craft, gives rise to the products in the collection. With their essential geometries, the never conventional aesthetics, their innovative textures and weaves, they unequivocally rewrite the meaning of living spaces.
The collection offers a variety of forms and shapes designed to respond to different demands of living spaces and to be assimilated into the most heterogeneous environments. The shading structures, the parasols, the accessories and complements in the Landscapes collection introduce a delicate balance between form and content, continuity and rupture, thanks to the wise use of chromatic combinations and fabrics that, with their ability to “hold the center”, give a new sense to spaces and to life style itself.
Complements and accessories design places, green areas and stage wings inducing unexpected encounters, amazing discoveries; they blend with each other with coherence and harmony and give rise to real open-air rooms marked by a unique balance between rationality and imagination.
OMBRA
Ombra is a parasol with a fabric sunshade. Its circular screen can be inclined and adjusted in height. The structure of Ombra is made of aluminium. It is treated with a special varnishing that makes it suitable to resist also in difficult environments.
On weight bearing surfaces, the parasol can firmly stand on the ground with the sole concrete ballast, but in order to ensure greater stability and increase the resistance to wind loads, it is recommended to secure it permanently to the ground, with steel dowels and screws, using always the appropriate ballast.
The circular screen is permeable and consists of two semi-circles. It is made either in white polyester net or in Paola Lenti’s signature fabric Thuia. When Ombra is closed, the semicircles are folded one over the other and aligned to the vertical support structure of the parasol.
When Ombra is open, the semi-circles can form a unique flat surface or be inclined independently of one other to assume three different positions. Opening, closing and adjusting operations are possible thanks to an articulated joint made of steel and aluminium. Varnishing and fabrics are available in coordinated colours.
BISTRO
Bistrò is a parasol made of fabric available with flat or dome-shaped sunshade. The two versions are designed to be used together and to allow this way for the creation of large sheltered areas. The structure is made of aluminium. It is treated with a special varnishing that makes it suitable to resist also in difficult environments.
Bistrò can stand free on weight bearing surfaces such as concrete slabs or plinths, using the appropriate ballast made of varnished, moulded cast iron. The base is also suited to be permanently fixed on surfaces which can guarantee an appropriate bearing capacity.
The sunshade is fixed or can be bent and is supported by glass fibre rods. It is permeable and made of Paola Lenti’s signature fabrics Madras and Tamil. A special open-close mechanism, hidden into the bearing structure, makes use very easy. Varnishing and fabrics are available in matching colours.
The Bistrò parasol won the German Design Award 2015 in the category Lifestyle and the Interior Innovation Award 2015, established by the German Design Council in cooperation with Imm Cologne.
Bistrò can be completed and personalised using The Clique side tables and seating designed by Francesco Rota, creating little reserved convivial areas for resting, eating, reading or talking. The side tables are available in different shapes and sizes and are made of varnished aluminium in colours matching the parasol structure.
They can be set at the desired height by means of a threaded ring in plastic materials placed under the top. The seating elements have a base in multilayer phenolic wood and padding in stress resistant, differentiated polyurethane foam. The padding covering in water repellent polyester is non removable; the upholstery cover is removable and available in Paola Lenti’s signature fabrics Rope T, Brio, Thea and Wara.
MOGAMBO
Mogambo is a non-folding parasol with sunshade woven by hand. The structure is made of aluminium and steel. It is treated with a special varnish that makes it suitable to resist also in difficult environments.
Mogambo can stand free on weight bearing concrete surfaces, such as slabs or plinths, using the appropriate ballast made of moulded and varnished cast iron in matching colours. The base is also prepared to be permanently fixed on surfaces which can guarantee an appropriate bearing capacity.
The sunshade let air and water pass through. It is made of a cord in melange colours in Rope yarn which is hand woven on a steel frame. Mogambo can be completed and personalized with Clique seating and side tables designed by Francesco Rota for the Landscapes Collection and upholstered with Paola Lenti’s signature fabrics Rope T, Brio, Thea and Wara.
